Week 2- Shapes

Our guest artist came to deliver the session this week. We began by all working as a team, using coloured oil pastels and drawing shapes to illustrate different weather. We had swirling wind and splashing rain! It was lots of fun and really got the children engaged in the session. Then we began to discuss 2D shapes and cut out triangles, squares, rectangles and circles of different colours and sizes to create our own pictures. Finally, they used coloured Perspex and created beautiful shape patterns to display on the projector and took turns to make shadow shapes with their bodies.
