Week 1- Robots

To start us off we had lots of fun making a robot using junk materials. We discussed the shapes and sizes of the 3D boxes and planned how we would join them together. We used cubes and cuboids for the body and cylinders for the arms. The children and their mums quickly got to work, selecting the different materials they needed. Each family had their own ideas and produced something totally original. The children were very proud of their super creations and had lots of fun showing them to each other.
