  • Stranger Danger

    Sun 28 Sep 2014

    24th September 2014

    Dear Parents

I need to share with you that an incident has recently been reported to the police following the suspicious behaviour by an adult in the South Liverpool Area. Parents are reminded of the importance of ensuring their children travel safely to and from school. We would encourage parents to discuss with young people how to act if approached suspiciously by an adult. The school will be revisiting safe messages over the next few days.

    Yours sincerely

    3rd September 2014

    Dear Parents

It is with great sadness to report the loss of Michelle Fisher who sadly passed away on Sunday, 31st August 2014  after her brave fight with her recent illness.  Ms Fisher had a long association with Holy Trinity School and she worked as an Educational Support Assistant (ESA ) in school on a one to one basis with children.  She will be sadly missed by all members of the school community.

Our thoughts and prayers are with her family at this very sad time.

    Yours sincerely

  • Letter From Our Headteacher

    Fri 05 Sep 2014

    Dear Parents/Guardians,

I am delighted to be writing to you as the newly appointed Headteacher of Holy Trinity Catholic Primary school. I feel extremely honoured and privileged to have been chosen to continue and build upon the success the school has already achieved under the superb leadership of Mr Mulcahy.  Having worked at Holy Trinity for thirteen years I feel I have built a strong relationship with children, staff, parents/guardians, parish priests and governors and understand what is needed to take the school forward in this new era of education.

My vision for the school is to ensure that the needs of all our children are met in all areas of school life and that each child is given a wealth of experience and opportunities. This in turn, will guarantee they leave Holy Trinity at the end of Year 6, feeling extremely confident, responsible and competent members of society, ready for their Secondary School journey.

I believe that school should be a happy, caring, spiritual, respectful and hardworking environment, in which all staff should utilise their skills to enable the children in their care to recognise their true potential and talents. As a Catholic community, we should endeavour to celebrate the successes of our children in all areas of school life. We can do this by showing them that we believe in them, respect them and are proud of them.

As key educators in your children’s lives, I feel that it is important that you feel you have a voice and that as a school we are approachable and allocate time to listen to your concerns, worries or thoughts about the school. I will be holding termly coffee mornings, in which, parents/guardians can chat to both myself and the senior leadership team to express opinions on what the school is doing well and/or any areas that may need addressing.

You can be assured that as Headteacher, I will strive to create the best education for your child/children whilst they are members of our school family.

I look forward to watching your children grow in confidence, knowledge and spirituality during their time at Holy Trinity and will thank you in advance for the support I know you will give all members of our school community, in the years to come.

Please feel free to contact me at any time. To make an appointment, please speak to the Office staff.

    Yours sincerely

    Mrs Raley-Williams
