Walking in the footsteps of Jesus: we care, we share, we love, we learn
The Mud Kitchen
We have such a lovely time in our mud kitchen. We use the pots and pans and lots of different utensils to dig and mix. We use our kitchen scales to weigh and measure and work together using the mud, wood chip, leaves and pebbles to make our lovely pies.
We step across the tree stumps and develop our balancing skills. Sometimes we jump from one to the other and take turns to climb on them. We climb up and down our climbing frame and help each other if we get a bit stuck.
We have lots of fun and laugh and giggle as we play.
Up in our tree we have got a bird house and a feeding box and we watch for the birds. We look at the different colours and the letter sounds that hang from the branches and we like to listen to the lovely sound that our wind chime makes.
Our Water Wall
We put on our water proof clothing and our wellie boots and have lots of fun with the water. We fill our buckets and pots from the water butt and fill the trays to float the ducks and fishes. We use a variety of containers to pour the water into the bottles on the wall and watch as the water flows down.
We like to splash about in the puddles that we make and sometimes we splash each other too !
