Building A Bridge Of Books.

A group of nursery children and their parents have been having lots of fun making books with Mrs Coakley in her ‘Building a bridge of books’ workshop each Friday morning.

Week 1- We started off making a book about ourselves and all the lovely things we do in school.

Week 2- We made a book all about ‘The very hungry caterpillar’ and counted the fruits he ate each day.

Week 3- What a lovely surprise, an artist came to work with us and we made a story box all about our favourite place to be. Connie and her mummy made a super beach scene, Shannay and her mummy made a wonderful box of their caravan. Harry and his mummy made a brilliant ninja turtle picnic with pepperoni pizza.

Week 4- We love the story ‘We’re going on a bear hunt’ and made this our last book.

Week 5- We celebrated our lovely work and had a tea party together. Well done boys and girls and well done mummys. What a great time we had and Mrs Coakley says thankyou to everyone who attended.
