Welcome to Eden – Our Enhanced Resource Provision

Eden is Holy Trinity’s Enhanced Resource Provision (ERP), supporting children with complex learning needs and/or communication and interaction difficulties. Our aim is to provide a calm, nurturing and inclusive environment where every child can flourish, develop confidence and achieve their full potential.

Eden is made up of two classes, Cedar and Oak. Each class provides a highly personalised learning experience, with small class sizes, experienced staff and a strong focus on communication, independence, and wellbeing.

Our dedicated team includes teachers and teaching assistants who are experienced in supporting pupils with a range of additional needs. We use a variety of evidence-based strategies and approaches, including:

• Visual supports such as Now/Next boards, objects of reference

• Intensive Interaction and sensory-based learning

• Attention Autism (Bucket Therapy)

• Structured play and social communication sessions

• A highly differentiated, engaging and meaningful curriculum based on the Equals framework

Learning within Eden is hands-on, sensory and tailored to each child’s stage of development. We celebrate every small step of progress through the Engagement Model, ensuring that every child’s achievements are recognised and shared.

Our approach is holistic and child-centred. We work closely with families, therapists, and external professionals to ensure consistent support and shared goals between home and school. We also prioritise emotional wellbeing, positive relationships and mental health throughout daily routines and learning experiences.
